Yáʼátʼééh, I'm Miri’ikai (Kai) Walter LCPC, LAC, MACMHC, and working towards finalizing a Neuropsychology PhD. I offer several years of experience working in clinical mental health counseling, addictions, and clinical settings as a Clinical Director. I practice from a holistic approach which addresses the mind, body, and spiritual approach to healing, and I am also an apprenticed Native American Healer. I incorporate my traditional knowledge with evidence-based approaches such as DBT, CBT, Stages of Change approach, and Person-Centered Therapy, as well as REBT. I have secured certifications in these excellent counseling approaches, and continued to pursue additional techniques such as EMDR to add to my counseling toolkit.
